I recently purchased password recovery 5.0 software from prosoft3d. The site claims to allow you to retrieve forgotten passwords. I installed the software, but it did not work on my PC.

I was also billed 39.95 when the site indicated that I would receive a 9.95 savings making the total 29.95. The advertisement on the site was very deceptive.

I have attempted multiple times to contact this company via the email support link provided on the site, however I have not received a response.

I am within the 30 day money back guarantee and would like a refund since the sofware is useless to me.

Same story, paid for the app on their site, downloaded and installed, and it DOES NOT WORK !!! From other feedback I am seeing, I guess this really is a bona fide scam, and I AM FURIOUS !!! I will be contacting the Attorney General's office . . .

Thought I was buying this at the advertised price of $9.95. However once they have your payment details they tell you its $29.95. I clicked the back button on the browser but they charged me anyway. I complained and they promised a refund - twice, but it never happened. I've now initiated a credit card chargeback but their disputing it! Either very inept or engaged it sharp business practice. Have nothing to do with them.
