I found this company (RealtyPropeties) on line. They request that you call them and then someone will follow up with a call back. Well Frank OConnor called me back and we went through the process. According to him they advertise in vacation magazines, internet, in person presentations, telemarketing, direcgt mail etc to bring in a plethora of clients. I have also researched other related companies of their's, (VacationCatalog.com, TimeShare register, Manage.resortexpert.com) all with the same general pitch. Anyway back to Frank, there were promises of no listing fees, closing fees, additional realtor fees etc. I didn't have to pay for appraisals, just a one time advertising fee of $1395.00. (boy was I stupid) He already had a European buyer looking for just that type of timeshare. Wow was I excited!!! I sent the signed contract of marketing back to him and waited. Man, I waited and waited, then I called and asked for Frank, not avaiable. I asked for a staus on my property, it had been advertised and waiting for a buyer. What about the buyer Frank already had? Just a standard retort of we are working on the sale and you will be contacted when a buyer is found. Called again asked for Frank, not available, this went on for some time. I asked that he give me a status call. Never heard from the guy or the company again. They had my money, through my stupidy, and there was nothing I could do about it.
