| I bid on a salvage vehicle and won the auction, or so I thought. That evening I paid a $400 deposit for them to acquire the vehicle. The next day I contacted them and was told that I had not won the auction. I then requested a refund of my deposit. This was the first of December 2010. After countless calls and emails, I still have nothing. They have never returned an email and now don't answer the phone, let alone return a left message. |

| I share the same experience with this co called company, hot dog stands have more credibility, now i have to pay my lawyer 3 times that to get the money and i will. When the complaints build up they will just declare chapter 11 and leave with the money. Dont deal with these con men. They dont own anything, they just pretend to bid on vehicles that other yards actually own. Its a total scam. Can you imagine if you just get 1 million people to deposit $400? thats suddenly alot of money for doing nothing. |

I bid on Mercedes benz car for 13k then i received call from salvageworld.com ask me to increase my bid to 16800$ i reject and i told him this is my maximum he told me i will try maybe they will reject this offer we can try on other car i said fine, after 1 hour i received an email says
.We apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, we were unable to acquire the 2007 MERCEDES-BENZ R350 R CLA that you have bid on at this Insurance Auction. The Insurance Auction did not accept your offer (it was either too low, or they accepted an offer from another company other than Salvage World). Your current funds will remain in your account and you may use those funds towards your next purchase!...
after 4 hours i receive emails

i called them and i talk to Mr Niko from salaveworld.net i told him i dont want this car as i receive email say the insurance company reject your offer he told me it was by mistake (Mistakeeeeeee )
then next day i contact live support chat
this was them answer

Hi : no it wasn't like that the question was that i have to increase the bid then i said this is my maximum and he told me i will try with the insurance company if they reject we will try with clk Mercedes and i said i will try with 1 car only then you made all the process and send me the invoice after receiving 4 hours before that the insurance company reject my offer and even if the insurance agree they should call me to confirm

| i have been scammed by this company, I bid on a car, and made a 1000 deposit. I have now been waiting 5 months for my refund, and they have stopped answering the phone, ive never had a call back. and twice they have told me they fired the management and are restructuring and that's why the money hasn't been sent. I was told over 2 months ago that the cheque was sent.. its all lies.. beware, never send them money, you will never see it again!!! |
