| Exalt consulting: Refundable amount not given on cancellation of registration |

I got call from Exalt Consulting & they offered me to provide placement services if
I register with them for amount of 3000/-, which they claimed would be refunded in case I want to cancel the registration at any time or in case they are unable to place me. They told, they have job openings relevant to my profile, that is why they called me.
They also told that after placing me, they will charge amount equivalent to my one month salary.
I registered with them on 29/09/2009. They gave me the registration receipt (No. 870) on which they mentioned provision of refund.
But, even after months of registration, I never got any call for any job opening ,through them. I asked for cancellation of registration in month of december & asked for refund. On this they said, they will transfer the amount directly to my bank account & it will take 20 - 25 days. They also said they will
give me in writing through email, regarding their mode of payment for refund.
But, they never sent any mail or called me regarding this. They did not even ask for my bank account number. When I called & sent mails to them, they did not respond.
After 3 weeks, they sent mail to me & asked me to have patience & said that they will get back to me on this. They did not comment anything on my refund or anything relevant to it.
I made many calls after that, but my calls were never received. I sent mails also, but they never replied.
Even after a month since I asked for cancellation of my registration, I did not get
any response from them, regarding my refund.

I am a vicitim of this fraud. EXALT CONSULTING IS A FRAUDSTER COMPANY. I have paid Rs.4500 and received only Rs.2000. This is the new tactic they are using. and they say its their "BY EFFORT ESTIMATION". They will promise u will get calls from IBM, Wipro, Thomson Reuters and top notch. Believe me they wont. They dont have even contacts to those companies. The kind of companies they forwaded is to companies which no one have heard of...many of them startups and some dont even exist. Searching openings from Naukri and forwarding to candidates is what they call their "Effort ESTIMATION". And when i asked for the effort estimation.. they gave me a plain e-mail after calling them several times. Any person who is professional expect a break up in the Excel sheet format of how the effort estimation. This shows they are truly unprofessionals.
Guys if any of you are stuck like this similar to mine do share. I have consulted a lawyer and he advised to file a case under Section420 for cheating and dishonesty.
Punishment—Imprisonment for 7 years and fine—Cognizable—Non-bailable—Triable by Magistrate of the first class—Compoundable by the person cheated with the permission of the court.
So guys go ahead and close this evil company.
