| I just want to let everyone know about the bad dental experience I had at Stetic Implant & Dental Centers in Cancun. If you are researching dentists around the area and if by any chance you decide to visit this clinic, please be aware that you will be attended by a Doctor Called Antonio or Paulo who are highly unskilled (you will NOT be seen by the "hot shots" you can see advertised on their web page, not to mention we had a very difficult time trying to reach a proper communication since they barely speak English. The decision was easy since I was called by Manny who sounded more than helpful and convinced me in a heartbeat, The reality is that this clinic is a total scam. I had several crowns done and later on I discovered my crowns were a total waste of my money. They were poor quality crowns, not to mention they were all ill fitted, ALL EIGHT!!, also I got an infection where I had a root canal and I had to take 10 days of antibiotics and of course my root canal had to be redone. You name it, a total nightmare. The clinic looks dirty as well, believe me when I tell you I was super brave when I decided to get my dental work with them, now I realized I was incredibly stupid. A dentist here in the States told me it was the worst work he has ever seen and had to be redone due to the ill fitted crowns and the infection. So I guess I just wasted my money. I requested a full refund and I never received a reply. Please be careful about who you choose to do your dental work in Cancun, and please stay away from Stetic Implant & Dental Centers. Those guys were a total waste of my time and money. |

My name is Melissa and I actually have visited this specific Dental Clinic in Cancun.
This is my review from my visit:
Doctors: Each doctor can speak English. I spent time with each doctor individually had was able to communicate perfectly considering I know maybe 5 words in Spanish. Each person was very friendly and also wanted to know you personally. Something we don’t see in US or Canada anymore.
Clinic: Honestly, I have never to been to a more hygienic dental facility. This is including the US. They have staff cleaning after each patient, this includes wiping the chairs down. The only thing that this clinic lacks is “love”. It needs some paintings and maybe a couple plants to get a more “homey” feel but otherwise, I couldn’t even spend 12 hours cleaning my house to make it that immaculate.
Location: Very easy to find. Right off a main road. It is directly across the street from a big mall.
Hospitality: The person you talk to on the phone is the person who picks you up from the airport, takes you to your hotel. They also take you to each of your visit, and waits to take you back. Pretty much you are catered to the whole time you are there.
To be honest, this was one of my best experiences. You get all your dental work done for a discounted price and you get to recover on the beach. If you can think of something better than that, feel free to email me back and let me know! |

I had been in touch with Many for several months prior to our recent
visit and the communication was excellent so we decided to go. We're
free spirits. I have a lot of experience with dentists over the past 40
plus years and must tell you that the quality of care, service and price
is the best there is.
I researched Dr. Cook prior to going and he is as advertised. We were
attended by a team of three dentists, all specialist in their respective
area of expertise. They are very well trained, hardworking, friendly and
honest. For example, Carlos who specialize in your final look (Cosmetic)
and does the initial examination recommended I not get a new bridge
which had been recommended by three dentist in the USA because the
bridge was strong, excellent work and could be repaired. He did the
repair for $40 and suggested waiting until my return visit before
deciding if replacing is necessary.
The clinic is spotless and they use the latest technology. Also I
expected to have two implants done but only had one done based on their
examination. I also expected to pay all fees up front but was only
required to pay 75% with the final payment due when we return in
November for the final crown, abutment and cosmetic details.
I had two implants done here in Hilton Head by the top implant dentist
here and there is no comparison with the quality of service and
technology at a fraction of the cost. Carlos also made me a custom
temporary crown.
THERE WAS NO PAIN AT ALL!!!
I have given you as much detail as I could at this time. You must follow
your own instincts if you feel this is for you. We have traveled
extensively in Mexico as well as most of the world so we had no problem
going to Cancun. I have lots of photos I can share (I'm a professional
photographer) if you would like to see a few. I have given you my
evaluation and highly recommend Stetic Implants. I have also recommended
to personal friends in Florida and California.

Yes, our company is aware of this complaint. However, we have found out that the complaint in not legitimate.
In the past couple of years, we have had no patients that have had 8 crowns done in our Cancun office. We guarantee all of our work. Any issues, our clinic covers it. All of our dentists speak English. They understand anything and everything that has to do with your health. If you have any concerns, feel free to contact them. I can provide you with a telephone number.
We have tried contacting this patient with regards to their posting and have not received a phone call back nor have he/she answered our phone calls. So we ask ourselves one question…
Why would someone say this?
Cancun has one of the most competitive dental implant industries. There is another clinic in Cancun that has conquered the market for many years and does not react well to competition. They have not reacted well to our clinic cutting into their market. The location of the complaint was tracked to an address in Utah, but the person states that they are from California. Clinics in Cancun outsource to the US for sales people which leads us to believe that the person who made the complaint works for a clinic in Cancun.
So all and all, we decided because of our better service, cleaner environment, and lower prices and promotions, the only way they can attack our clinic is by posting a dishonest complaint on a website.

To anyone considering the Stetic Implant and Dental Center,
My girl friend and I, both needing dental work, visited the center in Cancun last October. Our experience was very much as another patient, Ed Nelson, has already commented here. Dr. Paulo and Dr. Hernandez both did excellent work, we could not be happier with the results. Gale received three implants and I had one root canal with no pain! The clinic was very clean, the doctors were professional. The prices speak for themselves, a great value.

| I would like to warn everyone about Stetic Dental implants. I choice these people because they have such good reviews at whataclinic.com. From what I can tell, these reviews are from their Neuvo Progresso location. The Cancun location for Stetic is a complete disaster. The clinic is small and clean, but it is run by 2 young dentists who do not know what they are doing. I had to wait 3 hours on my first visit, only to have the dentist tell me to come back the next day. They were 2 hours late to pick me up and I had to wait another hour before they performed the implants. Stetic does not use anesthesia- only shorts into your gum. I had tears I was in so much pain. I kept asking to be put to sleep, but they told me they did not have that capability. After 3 hours of TOTAL pain, I wandered back to my hotel. I could not sleep at all, because of the pain. I asked them for stronger pain medicine and they told me there was nothing they could do. I had to wait 3 days for the swelling to go down, and then I was to have a metal bar installed. However, I developed a rather serious infection. No only did this push the whole timeline back, but the pain was even worse than before. The whole time the dentist kept giving me excuses, delays, etc. Maybe the Nuevo office is better or maybe the reviews are lies; all I know is that my experience was very, very bad. The worst you can think of. |

| HI MY NAME IS HOLLY STREHLOW I WAS JUST AT STETIC IN NUEVO PROGRESO, LESS THAN A WEEK AGO, I GOT 9 IMPLANTS DONE, MINIMAL PAIN, THE PEOPLE THERE WERE VERY VERY NICE AND MANNY WAS A SUPER GUY ! I AM IN MY HEALING 4 MONTHS WAIT NOW UNTIL I GET MY IMPLANTED IN TEETH BUT I WILL KEEP EVERYONE POSTED . | Stetic in Cancun is the best in my opinion. Feb. 18th I had my last totally satisfing appointment to receive my crowns onto the implants and Dr. Mendoza made sure that I was totally happy with the fit before I returned to Chicago, which included a last minute adjustment which they gladly did with out a prior appointment. I would shout it out to the world that this is a great place. I was picked up from the airport and taken to the clinic and even taken out to lunch by the dentist. |

| Beware beware beware of stetic they not only have dentist that are impaired and lack skill but when patients get infections which is more frequently than anyone ever believe they don't treat it as a serious medical problem. I was one of those that those patients as opposed to Melissa who works there and was promised money to keep quiet, dangled around for monthsand then a renigge now I have to find an attorney yet again so Just stalling tactics to delay any damage I could do and nowback up to their old games there might be good dentist in Mexico but these are not the people, falsehoods about what quality implants they were putting in and anyone that posts anything good is likely to be an employee or someone that needs to negotiate with them but they're not to be trusted especially Manny one of the owners. |

All their clinics are horrid, dentists incompetent, and they are rude whe you have problems, and I'd their rotten work. Stay away for their hype, sales on implants? Their methodology is destined to fail. They are a menace and all positives on this are paid employees making up stuff to save face, most have regretted their bringing us to this place.
Manny payan owns this place, evades us taxes on us employees, lies, about correcting bad work and infections, is nasty and insulting, stops answering calls, and they don't know what they are doing . Nothing is worth it. We all feel likemidiotsfor falling for their act. |

| my experience started out good, and i left alot of positives on this page i am here to retract everything . after 6 months of healing, i went back to finalize my teeth . it went from bad to worse, infection after infection . 3 times a arch was made on the WRONG abutments . the clinic did not order the abutments the doctor advised . after the final arch was placed, 2 days later i was in the emergency room having everything removed . i had no blood flow to my gums, and they were literally dieing . i was in so much pain, now months after the surgery, i can not even have a denture made because of so much bone loss. i now need bone grafting and vestiboplasty before a denture can even be made . i can not eat i look 20 years older i have jaw pain and headaches constantly . be warned ... |
