Tom Tom GPS
Lifetime maps does not work and they will not fix it.

I bought a Tom Tom GPS about 2 years ago and it clearly stated free lifetime maps were included with the model I purchased. To date it has never completed a download. It is getting so bad outdated that I am forced to buy another unit. I have worked with their Customer Support, but they never fixed the problem. It starts to download and after 2 to 3 minutes gives error and locks up. I saw numerous complaints online of this problem. Many told that if you purchase maps from Tom Tom then it will load no problem. Looks they are out to force customers to buy maps twice. You pay for the maps when you purchase the unit. Then you either trash the thing and buy a real GPS device or you pay again to get maps. I am seriously looking for an attorney to file a CLASS ACTION SUIT against Tom Tom for this dishonest tactic.
