Lying to consumers about DRm on their game "From Dust"

It was explicitly stated on their website that the game "From Dust" would require a one time only online activation. Upon release it was discovered that the DRM required an always active internet connection.
Ubisoft then deleted all references to its earlier statement in media it controlled and has not commented on the many screen shoots from its forums that show a promise of no always online DRM in "from Dust" from one of the official spokespersons.
Despite all this Ubisoft is still denying some customers refunds.

The funny part is the DRM completely failed and From Dust was being pirated on the same day it was released, and the DRM actually acted as a compelling argument for many to pirate this game or avoid buying it.

Ubisoft has effectively given people all the justification they need to turn the piracy narrative from a cancer that destroys PC gaming into a righteous protest against corporate corruption.

Way to go Ubisoft, I'm anti-piracy and you just made my case a lot harder to make, will you learn anything at all from this or will you continue to lie like Peter Molyneux about your upcoming games?
