About four days later I recieved an email stating that the estimate came out to just below my $500.00 deductible. Are you kidding me???...so I tried to call the adjuster (on a thursday), and her voice mail send she was out of the office for the rest of the week. So I sent an email to her and than called the customer service number. Lo an behold the customer service agent got my adjuster on the phone. I told the Ice Queen that the dealer the estimator referred to had told me the job would cost $2,000.00 not less than $500.00. She told me that she had just emailed me a copy of the estimate and to have my mechanic call the appraiser.

Which I did and in his review he noticed that while the appraiser had put down that the fuel injectors needed to be cleaned, that he failed to show any time to do it. The appraiser said that he would look at it again and call back. I finally had to call the appraiser who told me that he did put that time in and that his appraisal came out to just over $950.00???..really??? So I asked him if I could get a copy and he said for me to call the corporate office and ask them.

I called them and the lady I spoke with after about four different stories told me that Unitrin had called and asked for the estimate to be chopped. Of course I'am now very pissed off and tried to call the Ice Queen her boss and anyone else who would explain this to me with no luck. I find that this disingenous farce of a company has a history of this and am searching for a already started class action lawsuit or something similar to show them that they can't do business this way.
