All I have to say is this man had requested work from my husband for some home crown molding! He seemed like a very nice professional christian man. He lives in a very expensive community, owns several Subway Franchises, and he deals cars on the side saying he is a whole sale car dealer! He states he has a car dealership in Clearwater, FL called Choice Auto! Which infact is listed here in the RipOff Reports. It states there is a team of Russian guys that are changing and altering CarFax.!!!! My husband worked for a solid week on his house making gorgeous crown molding in home! When working for him at first glance my husband asked what happen to the last guy who had been doing the crown molding as he could see some one had started it and didnt finish it. Geoff, says that he didnt like the guy and that is why he asked for my husband to come and finish it. Well, first my husband plans his whole work week to do this job, and Geoff cancles and changes the date the first day! There goes $200.00 for that day, day 2, he tells my husband he wont be home until after 2pm then tells him he can only work till 6pm and keep in mind my husband is traveling 50 miles each way which we are paying for. Then this continues on and off for about 10 days. Geoff seems like a great guy, he is talking to my husband about future ventures in buying some houses and rehabbing them. Using my husband as the sole contractor for these houses. In the mean time Geoff is talking with my husband about his dealership and how he can get a great price on cars and how he is selling about 22 cars a month. He only charges a $2000 profit on the vehicles and includes a 14 point check on them and blah blah blah.... Now my husband has completed the work for Geoffrey White and its time to pay $1580.00 for his labor! Well, the first $580 was materials in which my husband paid for out of his pocket. We had to ask for this check 3 days in a row. He gave us a check that had no business name on it and cost us $80 to cash. Then we asked him for the remaining $1000 dollars! Thinking that he is a good standing guy, he tries to sell my husband a Hummer! Using the money he owes us for labor as the down payment. My husband was looking for a Yellow Hummer H2 loaded for about $15,000 for a work truck. Geoff tells him awe man I have one you have to see it..... Emails go back and forth with Texting and pictures.... Nothing yet! We tell him we want the hummer and I decide I will buy a BMW 330i from him. This goes on and on for 2 months of no car no money. Put it this way, It has taken us 2 months of back and forth with this guy and he will not pay. He promises he sent a certified check in the mail and no check. We then go buy another car that needed work and asked him to pay the mechanic with the money he owes us and again more lies he said he did it and we had the mechanic on the other line where the mechanic says he never spoke to the man. Long story short, do not do business with this guy. He has caused us more heart ache money, and hardship from his broken promises and lies. If you want to know more email me and I will tell you. There is not enough space in this for me to explain every lie and false promise he told us. Now we are still with out money he owes us down to one vehicle and one in the shop. We will be ok but I am just warning you to make sure you dont fall into the situation as we did! STAY AWAY FROM HIM HE IS A CROOK!

| She is correct do NOT deal with Geoff White / White Management / Choice Automotive. His is a pathological liar, and comes across as this great guy who is friendly and helpful, family man, etc. He took money for a vehicle from me that he never had to sell - he consistently dragged me along and made up stories as I tried to get my money back - he even stopped payment on a check, he knew this while he was on the phone with me but assured me the check was FINE and I shouldn't worry - meanwhile he had stopped it a day before when we had this conversation. Bottom Line - do not do business with him. He is not reputable and has a story for everything - none of which are true. I think he even believes him - himself sometimes. Stay Away! |

He sold us a car that had been fixed up cosmetically and then had shoddy repair work done to it. He did a very good job masking a serious oil leak. The check engine light was disabled. Found out later that one wheel was only being held in by 3 of the 5 studs, two were completely stripped. Anyway I have been spending alot of time and money fixing problems.
That is only half of it. He promised to send us the title which we did not get until about 65 days after the sale. We ultimately had to file a complaint with the DMV. Their investigator went to Choice Automotive and spoke to the owner. George Walts. He said that Geoff had taken our money and run. The owner claimed that he did not know where to send our title. The investigator ensured it was sent to us. The whole situation sounds fishy and I find it hard to believe George was oblivious to what Geoff had been perpetrating on many other buyers. Not to mention their repair work to the car was extremely poor and Napa should pull their association from Choice Automotive. STAY AWAY!!! |
