I initially purchased 1 unit of Iphone 4S 16 gb to Abdul Karim of Abdul Karim Ltd, which is company based in UK I sent the money thru Western Union to Grace Godwin in Leicester, United Kingdom. After a few hours I sent money he told me that 1 unit cannot be sent because the shipping company (in which he didn't tell the name) required a minimum of 3 units to be sent, in which he should have said before I made a purchase. So he told me I needed to buy additional unit to make it three but I only have to pay for 1 additional unit because they have a promo of buy 2 get 1 free. I told him I don't have more money to pay for another 1 so he should return back my money however she shrugged the idea of and insist for me to just pay for 1 and get 1 free. I decided to loan money to a friend so I could have the units delivered since I thought maybe I could sell the other 2 units and its a bargain. But I asked if he can give me a discount for the second unit because i don't have enough money to pay for it in the same price since he said that I am a serious buyer he gave me a discount. However, I still ask for another discount because I still lack some money so he told me he'll ask his boss then after asking he again gave a discount but this time the money should be sent to his boss in Nigeria. I said OK and did the payment thru Western Union again but to Ebuka Ezenwankwo in Nigeria. After I made the payment he told me I will receive then receive my after 2 days. However, a day before the package arrive he told me there is a problem he mistakenly sent 5 units and now asking me to pay for that as well. I refuse to pay at first because it is not my fault but he said if I don't would not receive any. I negotiated and he negotiated because he will be in trouble. Since I am a good Samaritan I agreed to pay again but after he told me that i only have to pay for one and the other one is free. I already getting a feeling I am getting tricked. I actually have suspicion when I was told later of the minimum requirement of the order when I have already paid. But I wanted to think positive I have to. I know I am losing my money but still hoping. So I negotiated, I told him I'll pay in installment. He agreed and he said to me that in one hour of making the last payment I will receive the items because it is already in my country and passed customs. I waited for hours but it didn't arrive so i contacted him and asked where is the package. He then told me it was seized by customs. This is the time that is really confirmed that it is a fraud. How can it be seized by customs after I made the payment and he already told me that it has passed customs. He then said I have to send money to pay for customs. I refused to send anymore money because I don't think it is necessary because the customs we are talking about is already in my country not on his country. So if I have to pay for customs duty, the shipping company that will deliver my package should have contacted me and tell me of the charge of customs and I would pay them upon delivery. I told him that and he said it is not how it works because the shipping company have paid it already. So i said, if it the case i should be paying the shipping company upon delivery of the items. He still insist that it doesn't work that way. I told him i don't think it works in the way he is telling me how it works and I insist on knowing the number of the shipping company and its name because ever since the transaction took place i keep on asking the name of the shipping company but he didn't say it. He is becoming nasty at this point because I think he feels that he is getting busted. He is really insisting that the only option i have to receive the package is to send him money to pay for the customs duty which I really refused and i insist on having to contact the shipping company he said have my package. Since, I want to tell the shipping company i will pay them the customs duty they have paid in my behalf upon delivery of the items since i really don't think I have to pay their company which is based in UK if the items is already in a company based in my country. Abdul Karim keep on insisting I really have to send money to receive my package and demanded me to look for money or beg anyone for it. I don't want to and I refused to, I really don't think it is necessary to send more money outside my country if is already in my country. He said that I should stop contacting him because he is getting mad to me for being a know it all and by refusing to send money to him when he told me it is the only option. I told him he should not be asking me more money because in the first place the package should have not been seized if he doesn't made mistakes. If it was only 1 unit instead of five. He even mentioned to me he declared it as a gift so it can easily passed customs so why would customs charged me for that. he even threatened me that customs would burn my package if i didn't send him money. Why would that happen. Customs would probably sent back the package to it's sender or tell the shipping company to charge me for dues. I have asked him several times for the number or the name of the shipping company here in my country to talk to them in person for the package however he keeps ignoring me and insist that it not necessary for me to know. but if he keeps telling me that and keep on asking until he gave me a number which he said of the shipping company. but he gave a number i know that it is a number from UK which i don't need because i need the one here in my country and it is actually non-existent when I tried calling it. I told him about it, that the number he gave me is non-existent and told him is he making a joke. he went mad and said to me not to contact him anymore he had enough and the only time i should contact him again if i decided to send him the money he is asking for. I told him i really don't think i need to send money to him because I can pay it directly to the shipping company. After that he now ignores all my messages and emails and I don't have anything to me anymore I lost money and didn't receive even 1 unit out of 5 units i should have received. This should be out so that no one can suffer the same fate from Abdul Karim ltd, Abdul Karim, Grace Godwin or Ebuka Ezenwankwo and detection of fraud could be detected as early as possible.
