John Altman (631-868-0015) Below Wholesale Cabinets Con Artist, Internet

I contacted John Altman from Below Wholesale Cabinets to place an order for a Pacifica Cabinet. He said can get the cabinets within 2 weeks and can have it installed within two days after the delivery.I had to mail him a check for half the amount ($2,688) so he could order the cabinets for me. This was in August 2011. He cashed in the check and now I cannot get in touch with him. I have made several attempts to reach him. But he is not responding to my calls and his company website is also down. He is a con man. Please stay away from him. He is still posting on craigslist with his company phone number: (631)-868-0015 I contacted the company he said he was going to order the cabinets from. They verified that he has ordered from them in the past. And I did learn that he never placed an order from them in August, Spetember or October. It is close to 2 months now. I have not received the product from the him.
