NAPA in Tan
NAPA in San Tan Valley Chip-General store manager Lost and damaged parts in motor of truck and won't replace them or refund any money San Tan Valley,
20th of Apr, 2011 by User864022
We took our truck to Napa to have it diagnoised as to why it is smoking white/blue smoke. It needed 3 fuel injectors. We replaced them ourselves. Could not get the truck started and towed it back to Napa for another diagnostic test. They stated it needs a fuel injector pump and in the mean time they tore apart the motor to check the fuel injectors. Why, I don't know.
We decided to tow the truck to Sands Chevrolet (another story) since we just bought the truck 60 days previously. Sands chevrolet wanted $3000 to put in the part. They also stated that NAPA didn't put the motor back together and the motor is missing screws, bolts, they broke the heater line, broke the wire harness.
We called NAPA dozens of times to get the parts replaced and no one returned our calls. Finally we towed the truck back home and we put the fuel injector pump in ourselves. When we picked the truck up at NAPA they stated they put the motor back together and all is good. After paying them $691.93 we started the truck and fuel poured into the oil. We had to take apart the whole thing again and found that we are missing several screws and bolts, they did not put gaskets back in, they just put the parts back together without gaskets, they did not put back in and O ring.
I called Chip the general store manager and he would not return my calls. After a few days of him not answering me, I finally told him we need the parts NOW. He then said its not his fault the parts are missing and if I would have brought in the missing parts he maybe could have replaced them. How do I bring in missing parts?????
Chip then said he will not refund any of our money and its our problem not his. He also said they were going to replace the parts but changed his mind.
We now are in the process of replacing all the broken items on the truck and replacing all the missing items they lost. We now have to do another oil change costing about $150 on this type of truck.
