I met Aaron Slatten on Silver Daddies.com, a poplar gay men dating site. He explained to me that his mother had just passed and that he needed a vacation. He told me he had spent all his money on his mother's funeral, and that if I fronted him the money for a plane ticket and other expenses that he would pay me back when he got his commission check which he was expecting the following week. I purchased the plane ticket, he came to North Carolina and while I was sleeping he opened my wallet and wrote down my debit card information and paid his $457.00 Verizon cell phone bill. He has acknowledged several times through text messages his guilt and promises to pay the money back. I filed charges against him with the Pender County Sheriff's Department. I spoke with his Pastor, Rev. Terada who explained to me that he is a "con artist" and preys upon Christian men.

The gentleman who constructed this post, his name is Jim Thomas. His business is Tasteful Creations out of Wilmington, NC. They have received numerous poor reviews. His business is a non-success. Jim Thomas has chosen to leave this post up, as it is, incorrectly spelled. The actual gentleman he is looking for spells his last name "Slatton, " and lives in Westerville, OH. Jim met this gentleman through a dating service, and irresponsibly decided to invite a stranger into his house. Jim paid for his plane ticket. Jim gave him a Rolex. Jim is an adult, and an idiot. Lest it be known, it is better to develop a slow relationship, than it is to jump into something like unadmitted, prenegotiated sex. Jim should learn to spell correctly, and should act considerately and intelligently when confronted by truly innocent people affected by his ignorance. - Aaron Matthew Slatten, not Aaron Mathew Slatton

Ok for everyone that actually reads and relies on this website as a valuable source of information. Be sure that you note that the guy that is is posting negatively about Tasteful Creations has never done business with nor even met Jim. Jim is a great guy who does excellent work. This man is just angry cause there was a minor grammatical error, with the spelling of the last name, which really doesn't even affect him at all. There is always someone with the same name as you just be happy that you don't live in the same area as Aaron Mathew Slatton. No one would or could confuse you with him, you are just an immature "Troll" who googled your name and wanted something to do. So all and all, you have posted negative comments about a great person with a great business who never wronged you. Seems to me like you could have saved your self some humiliation by just saying no like your mother should have.

So, now that you are aware of this "typo, " why have you not corrected your post to substantiate your claim?

this is a website you could use to look up any existing small claims for Jim A. Thomas.

I have done some research on this post and I have talked to Mr. Slatton. Jim Thomas loaned him the money and it was paid back two weeks ago. Also, Mr. Thomas stated that he gave him a "Rolex" watch when in fact it was a Seiko watch and that was returned to the man too.

I have also noticed that Mr. Thomas has done these reports on other men in his past. This is slander and should be removed. Also, Mr. Slatton has not lived in Ohio for over a year. Beware of meeting people like this it could complicate your life when you can post anything on the internet!

He should at least have the common courtesy to post that he recieved his money and his Seiko watch back!

What a sad person to have nothing else to do than belittle someone when they really should be looking at themselves in the mirror.

First to Mr. Slatten, I have made several attempts to have the spelling of the name corrected in my post as well as trying to have the entire post deleted. These sites are unmanned with a very small inefficient customer service department. I sincerely apologize for my error in the spelling of Mr. Slatton's name. It was my intention to possibly eliminate someone from being scammed by Mr. Slatton. I really cannot understand why you would try to ruin the reputation of my business, which really has nothing to do with this scam? I have been blessed to have rebuilt my business as seen through the wonderful reviews I have on google. We all make mistakes as I did, and I have learned from those mistakes. I am kindly asking you to stop slandering my business.

Secondly, to Rob, Mr. Slatton has NOT repaid the money I 'loaned" him for the plane ticket. The bank refunded the money he stole form me because it was deemed FRAUD by the bank and there is a warrant out for Mr. Slatton's arrest. I never mentioned anything in my post about a watch, Mr. Slatten (not the scammer) did in his post and it was not a Rolex or a Seiko, it was an Armitron and yes it was returned by Mr. Slatton. Yes, I have reported ONE other complaint against someone who scammed me. Perhaps you should ask Mr. Slatton for a copy of the check or western union receipt where he sent me my money, until that time you can take your unsubstantiated comments and shove them!

On advise of counsel, send this note demanding that you cease posting ANYTHING about me on your site.

This story is flagrant libel.

A female individual I knew from Pennsylvania and had not seen for over 20 years showed up on my front porch with her kids. She wanted to leave her husband who was supposively abusive. She wanted more than that. She had said she had a crush on me since she was a young. I didnt' even notice her then since she was at least 10 years younger than me. She kept pushing for sex. She even tried to put my hand down the front of her pants. I told her they had to leave. They did. End of story for me.

But your site is perpetuating this lie and situation.

I am tired of having people question me about this and it was never verified. Charges were not filed in North Carolina at the sheriffs office. This happened in Ohio! This girl could never even afford a Rolex watch. I would not even wear a Rolex. I don't even wear a watch but once in a blue moon. She went home and told her husband that I tried to have sex with her. First of all, I would never have sex with a married women.

I find out that all this crap is on the internet. I can't remove it. They want $2, 000.00 to maybe take it off. It should be removed since it never happened and they never verified anything! Also, the pictures were taken off of my facebook. They are professional pictures which in their rules says that they are not allowed. I own them! The very act of demanding pay for removal of libel is extortion and will be reported by me to the authorities.

They have made up name after name putting posts on here and other sites. I think this company needs to do their due diligence and investigate before they try to ruin someones life. Counsel believes they are a scam. If you believe them you are gullible.
