i used this broker to import goods (rafts) into the united states last summer. and this company american eagle customs broker llc charged just under $60 for each box and we bring in 24 boxes with then, and when we asked to assist us with a import of a second shipment of the exact same goods (same size, same weight,etc) but this time only for 6 boxes, they assured us that the price would be comparable to the price on the first shipment (only few month before this second import) but then once they had my good in they hands, he refuse to release then unless we paid more than $1,000 (nearly $ 200 per box). they did not dispute that we had communicated the shipment price would be comparable, but still stated that they would not release or do anything for us, and will get the boxes only if we paid they demands this broker may be pointing fingers at a third-party transportation company, but the fact of the matters is, the broker refuse to allow us to have any direct contact whatsoever with the third-party company, all contact have to be through the broker himself. it was the broker who told us my price would be comparable to what it was the first time; and if they could not get a fair deal that would have been comparable ( as promised), it was his responsability to either enlist the service of a different transportation company or to let us know before he had my good hostage and refuse to release then without me paying nearly three times as much as what he promised us it would cost. so it is the broker who made false promises and caused this problem, and it is the borker who need to mad ethis right. this company refused to help it all.....big scammmmmmerssssssss
