This company was given by the Kitchen-Aid company. When the appointment was set, I recieved a wierd phone call asking me if I still had a warranty on my appliance. I stated yes. They stated..."Do not turn it off or we wont service you." I said "ok." The next day I recieve a call saying they had no time to come to my home and wold have to wait another three days. I was upset but accepted it. They then said they would be there at 9:00 a. m. PST. Monday cam and it was about 12:00 P.M. when I called the manufacturer to inquire where was Appliance rescue. They called them and in 10 minutes they were at my door. The man showed up with a body full of tatoos and wide holes in his ears (so professional), he ask me what was wrong with my appliance. I replied, "The compressor is shot." He stated in a sarcastic rude way..."DO YOU WANT A JOB?" I said "Excuse me?" He said, "Well you seem to know everything about it so I am thinking you need a job." WOW. He then did nothing but pull the fridge out, unplugg it and then said wed will call you and do you have proof of a warranty. I told him we did not call you, our manufacturer did, thats your proof. He then stated he had no clue when he could return, and in 30 minutes someone would call back. THEY NEVER DID. I had to complain to the manufacturer again and about 5:00 P.M that day they called me. He said..The labor is between 350.00 and 400.00 dollars. I said goodbye. This is a scam artist company that is out to rip consumers of. Labor is 200.00 max on this job. They also were trying to find a refurbished compressor for a client whom has a new product! Word to the wise stay away from these creeps! Sterotyping is not my thing but in this cased the look fit the charachter! |
