| You wouldnt believe what this guy does on ebay. He sells Harley Davidson used parts like forks, handlebars etc. I've followed his auctions for a while and he seems to get way more money than others do for the same item. What his trickery is, is simple enough. Ie lists the items with pictures that you cannot see the blemishes and he does not describe the item with any detailed accuracy. After reviewing his feedback, I saw that he has a reputation of selling bad scrappy parts. It didnt start off this way though as he convinced me the buyers wrongfully left him negatives and everyone is wrong except himself. I took a chance and bought from him an item to the tune of 2300$ and sure enough, it wasnt worth 1k. He sent me a damaged, scratched, marres, steel wool marked, rusty cracked, chipped, pitted, mocked up Harley springer front end and entirely ripped me off. He didnt want to resolve anything even after I showed him all the blemishes by pictures, so after pulling endless teeth, I caved in and left him negative feedback as did others for the same reason. I didnt want to do this but he waas a real jerk to deal with. After I did that, he wqent into my auctions and delibereately bought up 2 of my cheapest items so that he could use the feedback against me. I reported it all to ebay and they said even 3 months down the line if he tries to leave me negatives, they will be removed. If you want to buy off ebay beware of this sellr he will rob you and rape you blind. All pics and info is available for the world to see at |

ATTENTION EBAY SELLERS!! ...or anyone dealing with Paul Freitag, Paul’s website: http://www.sizzlers-shop.com/ or Paul’s eBay user name: sizzlers-shop. It is Paul Freitag you need to avoid, and NOT John Donfrancesco or Atlas Custom Cycle.
I have been selling honorably on eBay since 1998 and have over 1500 sales, with many of these being repeat customers! I sell mostly Harley-Davidson motorcycle parts and that includes several front ends similar to the one Paul Frietag bought from me.
All the items I sell are 100% money-back guarantee. In fact in Paul’s case, I went beyond my normal guarantee and offered to ship his item for a NO OBLIGATION, up close-up, personal inspection before we closed our deal. I offered FREE RETURN service from his front door if he were unhappy for ANY reason whatsoever. This in of itself should have satisfied Paul's issues if he were an honest person.
However, Paul Frietag refused to return the item which he claims he is “so unhappy with”. Instead, he uses his so-called unhappiness to try and hit me up for money. These attempts proved to only be the beginning of Paul Freitag's fury. He started emailing me 4-5 times a day with insulting comments about my eBay business and of me personally and he demanded that I send him money or that “all hell will rain down on you John” (his exact words).
I refused to fall for his extortion attempt and continually pleaded with him to him just return the item as we agreed. He didn’t like this so he not only upped the ransom amount, but he upped the intensity and frequency of scathing blogs and false postings on ‘scam alert’ websites such as this one. The only reason he initiated this smear campaign against me all over the internet is because he is pissed that he’s crossed paths with someone too smart to fall for his plan. I care very little about the insulting comments he is posting because the TRUTH ALWAYS wins in the end. When you realize that these are all lies, you will see that Paul Frietag unwittingly fell victim to his own scam.
In the eBay ad for this item (as with most ALL my eBay ads) I posted 16 high resolution photos. When clicked on, these photos become “super-sized” to almost full screen size...easily showing condition from all angles. I told Paul in several emails that the item had some issues with its condition, but he ignored all that so he could attempt to carry out his plan to attempt an extortion of $350 from me, rather than just returning the item! Yes, that’s right... it makes NO reasonable sense. He is very unhappy with the item but refuses to return it??
Anyone who has ever bought off eBay and paid with PayPal knows that your item is covered under PayPal's 'Buyer Protection' policy. This means that PayPal will refund your money in full if you feel your item is 'not as described’. This redundant money-back offer from PayPal wasn’t even needed because I already had offered Paul Freitag a refund on my own, even without PayPal's involvement. This alone tells you that there is no possible way Paul Freitag can legitimately claim that he was ‘screwed’ by me.
As a post-script to this reply, if you look at my feedback, you will see that Paul’s scathing negative feedback comment no longer exists. eBay pulled it down...sorry Paul. I contacted eBay’s fraud department and told them the TRUE story of how Paul works, and it was eBay who determined that Paul’s complaint and his associated negative feedback were all illegitimate, unfair and UNTRUE! eBay thanked me for informing them of Paul Freitag’s method of operation and told me that they would further their investigation for possible eBay rule infractions including scamming and fraud.
So Paul, my good name has been cleared and restored by eBay...what about yours? Sorry dude, but...YOU ARE SO BUSTED! |
