i am financed thru bank of america,,,i tryed to refinance,,,the lady at the local bank of america centerville ohio office ,i dealt with charlene evans she said sure we will you are financed thru us anyways,.so when i bought the home it was a foreclosure and it was pretty trashed tubs tore out plumbing leaks which rotted the floors....its a 1989 modular home out in the county,,nice big 10 horse stall barn,,couple acres,,5 car attatched garage,,,i payed 96,000.ok so bank of america appraised it,,,which was landsafe which is owned by bank of america,,charged $ 450 for the appraisal,,,and also said they needed the vin # well since i replaced the cabinets where the document was they said they had to research it charged me $150 even tho i sent a picture of it and 2 other documented proof from the original loan papers with the # on it it didnt matter.so since i moved in we installed a new roof,,,new well,,,new floors,,,all new carpet,,new electric heat,,new hot water tank,,new cabinets,,new doors,,,new tubs and toilets and other smallers stuff they said the appraisal was about $2000 short and declined the loan,,,they appraised it at 102,000 ????? i payed 96,000 to begin with and about $30,000 in repairs and improvements ,,,,,and the appraisal was lower than when i bought it,,,,,the property taxes appraised it alot hight than the bank did now every month they harrase me,,call 4/5 times a day the last 2 weeks of the month and ask me why i am a month behind on our payment. steve
