carrental8 do not rent from carrental 8 Internet

We made a reservation through carrental 8 for a car in tampa. when we arrived at the rental agency counter, there were no cars available even though we had a reservation number and my credit card had already been charged. Apparently, this meant nothing. The staff made absolutely NO attempt to find another car for us. We had to return to the airport and ask each rental agency if they had cars available. It was late at night and a holiday weekend but luckily, Enterprise came through at a higher cost of course. Carrental8 gave us a refund but what we needed was a car- the refund does not make the experience any better. Plus, carrental 8 assured the difference between charges would be refunded. It's been 3 weeks and no response to my email. Only use this agency if you don't really need a car because they might or might not have one for you.
