I booked this on name your own price with PRICELINE, Used to be a customer of theirs, no more after this experience and their attitude. The hotel says well you paid for these rooms but now the price you paid for is not enough and you have to pay for almost everything else plus they charge a huge resort fee and they are not a resort. The bathroom has a toilet plunger in it. I found out the reason why you have to be a plumber to get it to work. The carpet is old and dirty, It is not a hotel, but a multi-buildings 2 story motel and PRICELINE called it 2 star, I wouldn't give it a 1/2 star. some of the lights did not work, housekeeping what was that, one day got 1/2 the towels, didn't take the dirty ones. They gave me a credit for the day they did not even come. I was there for 7 days and let me tell you it wasn't fun. Need ice you will not have to worry about exercise, same complex but not the same building. Their exercise room has 3 pieces of equipment and you must get a pass each and every time for a limited time. The business center does have free internet if you bring your own laptop but you have to get a pass to use it. If not you pay per the minute and the service is slow. You have to go to their business center to use your laptop or pay dearly in your room. Continental Breakfast is additional so we ate across the street. For the few soaps we did receive in 7 days I was surprised that we were not charged extra. The steel fixtures are old, rusty and PRICELINE lost a customer for this "not a chain" hotel. They wouldn't stand behind their service and I wouldn't deal with a company like that again. |

My family visits the Celebration Suites at Old Town at least twice a year- sometimes three times. We have visited each year for the past 5 years and have never been disappointed. The hotel has extremely well located just minutes from the attractions and next door to Old Town which my family loves- shopping, bars, thrill rides, etc. Across the street is a Publix grocery store and every restaurant imaginable is within a few blocks and sometimes within walking distance. The Suites are HUGE- my family of 6 is always comfortable and the value is tremendous- usually under $70 a night. The Pools are heated in winter and are a lot of fun- the playground, basketball court, game rooms and kids clubs are a joy for my kids and the free shuttles to the parks saves us a bundle on parking. I have been impressed with the many improvements they have made to the hotel over the past year- new furniture, new carpets, new mattresses, new safes, new gym, new playgrounds, etc. etc. It's a great hotel, location and the staff is very friendly and attentive. I would recommend it to all with families. |
