Absurd charge for shipping/handling, plus error in addition

Automated 800 number charged $10 for sunglasses (2 pairs) and didn't mention the $27.96 charge for shipping and handling, then tacked on an additional $10 with no explanation, bringing the total they charged to $47.96.

In New Hampshire we have no Better Business Bureau, so I'm stuck with the charge.

What a ripoff!!! Here's the email I received today:

Dear Alan Baker:

Your order details for order number 775331 WV1304548315184928 are as follows:

Shipping/Handling $27.96

I just found the same TV ad at https://www.tvhdaviators.com/?refcode=hda10

In this website the shipping/handling is advertised as $10 for one pair of aviator sunglasses, and an additional pair for free. The shipping/handling is advertised to be $6.99 per pair,or $13.98. That would bring the total to $23.98. Still absurd, but only half what I was charged. The company in the online ad is IdeaVillage Products Corp.
