Earnhardt Honda
Earnhardt Honda Eric S Farley doctored photos... and accused us of peeling the paint ourselves! Earnhardt Honda not standing by its defective product
26th of Jul, 2011 by User585332
Earnhardt Honda is not a good place to buy a car. We have bought a 2010 Honda Pilot and have experienced paint peeling from the bumper. The first peeled paint started 1 month after we bought the car and during the first oil change my husband had asked them about it. Their response was that happends...but basically it was our problem...my husband is not agressive and from another country and sometimes he is not one to further examine the issue. Well more and more paint started peeling off, and all the sudden we have about 5 places the size of quarters.... we took it to get two seperate estimates at body shops and they told us...that we should take it to the dealership because it looked like a defective bumper....so we took it to the dealership at their request, and basically the service manager Eric Farley said it was our fault and he could see that it was wear and tear.....we disagreed with him and tried to tell him that it was happing a month after we bought it...he refused to listen to us...so we went inside to find someone with some leadership to asked questions to, and there was no one available, but two very nice phone girls.... they were very sweet but no mangager or anyone would come talk to us. Meanwhile while we were inside....Eric stuck pictures of our car and made it look all dusty and road warn around the tires...(we know this because we ran the car through a car wash so that we could show the deep groves of paint that had peeled all the way down to the metal....) He did this all in secret without us knowing he even took a picture...We contacted Honda and they said the dealership is in denile of the fix because of the rough wear and tear! Can't believe it....until this moment no mangagement has called...and non of them can be reached to ask about the picture that was doctored...and the rudeness that has been shown us by this dealership. I have told all my friends about not to go there on facebook, and I will continue to write blogs about how this simple problem of fixing a 800 dollar bumper in now going to cost them a customer that has bought 8 new cars in the last ten years....and three of them have been from Earnhardt! Sooooo do the math....$80.000 i paid you, i was just asking you for the warranty value of fixing peeling paint off my bumper for 800! Now you will get non of my buisness and I plan to tell everyone to go somewhere else!!!!
