Festiva Adventure has deceived us Asheville, North Carolina

My husband and I were scammed by Festiva Adventure July 2010 in Charleston, SC. We fell for a trap and paid $9000 for something we have been unable to use. It is most difficult getting a call through to the company. They usually return calls within 3-4 days - only to say.... no, we have nothing available or no, you can not take a 2-3 day vacation like you were told without a penalty, or no, you must pay more fees in order to get benefits. It's never endings excuses. We would love to sell the property but no takers. A refund would be nice but have been told that is not an option. I am working with the Attorney General in hopes of getting something done. Festiva is refusing to try to work out anything. We are willing to drive 4 hours to the location where we purchased but the sales representative will not discuss the matter with us.

We feel we have been deceived. Nothing works the way the sales rep claimed. We can not continue to pay fees for something we can not use or at least not use the way it was claimed. We plainly told him what we would be using the timeshare for. He assured us that we would find deals through Festiva that would fit our needs. This has not happened. We need to be free of this company.
