Janice Benson former Princeton Hockey Alumni 80' . Currently operates under the umbrella of the http://www.cjthl.com Central Jersey Town Hockey League. She has a long history of unpaid debt with a chapter 13 filing in 1998 and a foreclosure in 2004 , check Morris County NJ public records. Back in 2006 Janice was suspended by Dave Tyler of the USA Hockey Junior Council " for failing to make payment to USAH (stopped payment on check) and failing to make refunds to the players " (Eppolito family filed suit there after) . Just recently Janice Benson sent over 17,000 flyers to elementary schools located throughout Mercer , Somerset , and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey. From which Janice has generated quite a bit of revenue by canceling clinic venue locations then failing to refund monies that were paid up front, an obvious scam to bilk hard working families. Janice has also created quite a bit of bad blood with many of the area ice rinks leaving behind a string of unpaid ice time and clinic customers looking for refunds. Unfortunately with all of this said there are rink owners in the area willing to do business with Janice. We would ask that anyone with similar complaints to contact [email protected] with your story so that we may shed the necessary light on this scam. As a former employee of Janice and Princeton Sports Center, I can say with 100% certainty that the rinks are not at any fault here.. Aspen Ice, Iceland, Proskate (formerly Princeton Sports Center) and Princeton Day School are simply RENTERS of ice and have nothing to do with CJYHL or any other programs Janice runs. She collects the money, hires the coaches and rents the ice. Any rink she hasn't paid is a VICTIM not a contributor.
