Jigffy Lube Avoid Jiffy Lube they damage your vehicle costing you the consumer money Renton, Washington

I took my 1995 Ford Ranger pickup to Jiffy Lube # 2599 in Renton, Wa for an oil change and coolant replacment. the truck ran just fine without ever a mechanical issue. When they changed my oil they removed the old coolant from my radiator while running the truck's engine for several minutes before they realized they had not added oil to the engine. upon realizining this they shut down the engine after running it for about 4 minutes. once they filled the engine with 5 quarts of high milage oil they re-started the engine which began to make a loud tapping sound which the engine had never made before. they claimed the engine came into their shop making the tapping noise which became worse after they ran the engine without any oil. to cover their tracks they denied they damaged my engine and the engine made the noise when I came in (which is not true) I also have multiple witnesses who will back my claim) to further cover their tracks they added a bottle of Lucas Oil to the engine to quiet the noise. it worked however I am unsure at this time of what damage they caused. so I took my truck to Sound Ford in Renton and spoke with Peter in the service department. He advised me to run the truck for a couple of weeks and if I have any problems to bring it to the dealership for repair. I have since contacted Jiffy Lube's corporate office and am awaiting to hear back from the district manager. I am doubtful that Jiffy Lube willl stand behind their warrantee claim to fix the damage to my truck engine by the number of complaints about the company listed on this web site.
