Lucille's Flowers/Owner BRENDA FLOWER SCAM! Delivered dead, wilty flowers to my friend's funeral. Delivered on wrong date to wrong place! Owner hu

Stop! Please DO NOT ORDER flowers from Lucille's!! The owner, Brenda, is so hateful and rude, she hung up on me while I was trying to reason with her on wilty flowers they delivered in my name! Call 1-800-FLOWERS instead, they guarantee their flowers to be fresh. I ordered flowers last Friday for my friend's funeral, and the 1st person I spoke with was Liz, who was extremely rude. I tried to call a floral shop in Nowata, but they did not do deliveries to Vinita, so I ended up calling Lucille's back. I spoke with Laney and ordered a $60 arrangement of hydrangeas, white roses, and less expensive flowers mixed in. I was told I could not order the "Beautiful in Blue" that they advertise on their website, because of the snow storm, they were low on flowers and, "What we have is all we will have for 3-4 days." So I TRUSTED the flowers to look nice at the funeral. My total was over $70 with tax and delivery. I made it to the funeral, and the flowers I ordered were on the table with the guest book, they were NOT FRESH AND WERE EXTREMELY WILTY!! We were embarrassed to have our names on the flowers and wish we would have given the money we paid for the flowers to the kids' scholarship fund. My mom tried to call and resolve this, we were only asking for half of the purchase price back and Brenda was "offended" that we did not think the flowers looked nice. She asked me if I knew what hydrangeas looked like, I said I do, we have several of them in our yard. It is our favorite flower and what I had for my wedding flowers. That was so rude!!! She said she personally delivered the flowers to the family home on Friday, which was not the day I requested for them to be delivered. I requested for them to be delivered on SATURDAY, the day of the funeral, to the church, not the home. Then she said she must have me confused with someone else. She said she would think about giving a refund, and I told her that's what she said yesterday, that we would like an answer, she said, then your answer is no. I told her that was fine, although it was no way to do business and she HUNG UP on me! I have contacted my bank, and called the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU for a complaint form as well as TELEFLORA, since they are a dealer. What an unethical businessperson - so greedy! Please call Grand Lake Flowers or 1-800-FLOWERS instead, you will be relieved you did!
