M&J Restorations Mark 1961 Classic Truck Restoration Ripoff Santee, California

Mark owes me at least seven thousand dollars in rework that had to be performed after a complete "professional" restoration he performed on a 1961 Chevy truck. I spent over 28,000 dollars on his services alone (no parts). The quality of the job was awful. Complained to the BBB and Bureau of Automotive Repair. No response by Mark to the letters from BBB and did not abide to the resolution he agreed to with the Bureau. Only way to get my money back will be to go to court. He has an endless repertoire of excuses. The latest one is that he is broke and cannot refund me for the rework. I got screwed real bad. Some of the problems could have been be deadly. He has no certified workers performing mechanical assembly that only experts should perform. He charges 75 dollars an hour. Had to take the truck to certified mechanics at least 5 times to resolve serious issues that still continue. Had to replace parts that he damaged during the rebuild. Stay AWAY! Don't let this guy turn you dreams into a very expensive nightmare.
