We went in to buy a car they refused to sell us the one we really wanted we ended up getting talked into another vehicle. We even offered extra money down for the one we wanted they said no. We were up front with them from the beginning with everything letting them know my husband worked at a temp agency because we didn't want to have to bring the car back later. They told us " we don't put people in a car unless we know the deal will go through". When we went in to sign the contract we saw they were charging us for a warranty that we were told came with the car and they also bumped the sales price up $1000+. When we asked about it they basically said the bank that approved us was requiring this info because we had problem credit. That was on the weekend so we waited till Monday when the bank was open and contatced them they said the warranty was added because the car had too may miles for the year it was not because of our credit. They also told us that $1000+ was charged to the dealership and they should not be charging that amount back to us. When we called and spoke to the GM/Owner he was very rude and unprofessional and went on about how we were lucky to get the car and he never would have approved the deal for us instead of trying to resolve the issue of extra fees. Then after a week of having the car we were told to put more money down or return the car. Thank God we did not have the additional money to put down so we returned the car. When we reported them to BBB they responded with a lie and didn't even sign their name to the reply because they know they are bogus. They tried to say we gave them false information which is a lie they just wanted to cover themselves. We will never purchase a vehicle from Dolan Automotive Group again! We went to them because of their name and boy did we get proved wrong they are shady! I urge anyone and everyone stay away from them unless you want to get ripped off!
