Looks like Russell Pike's trial is moving ahead at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2011 in Judge Mahan's courtroom in federal district court at 333 S. Las Vegas Blvd.
For those of you commuting from San Diego for this auspicious event, book your tickets now on Southwest.com. One way flights at 6.40 a.m. on the morning of Monday, November 14 currently cost $101 and will get you into Vegas at 7:50 a.m. Use your Friends Fly Free and bring one your buddies who was conned into investing with this scam artist. Grab a cab at the airport and head downtown for the trial. Get your coffee on the way and drink it before you get to court, because they don't let liquids in.
If you're staying overnight or several nights (why not make a week of it...Vegas Baby, Vegas...better odds than investing with Pike), take a look at rooms at Palm's Place. Their Studios are really quite lovely and are going for $99/night right now for those dates.
