Stealth Solar is the biggest scam scam for solar panels ever to hit Arizona. this company will overcharge just like they did to my neighbor and not even hook up the solar panels the correct way resulting in false promises of getting rebate money at the end of the year. they are very good liars and seem to come up with a bull s**t answer to almost any question you have. they overcharge so badly that it is nearly impossible to ever get a return on your investment. but they sure can make it seem like your going to get a return on your investment really fast with "their" numbers that were made up from "their" company. the salesmen are EXTREMELY pushy in forcing their scam down ones throat. don't listen to their lies and do a lot of research before you spend all the money that is required from one of their generic super cheaply made solar plastic panels that won't last nearly as long as they claim. I have done a lot of research and am writing this report to prevent any others from being flat out scammed. I also found out with some digging that Stealth Solar used to be called ADAIR who has gone out of business from being sued multiple times from several different customers. That's why if you check, their company was recently formed. I hope this helps anyone who was about to make the mistake of going with Stealth Solar.
Stealth Solar is a licensed contracting firm that has enterred into a private label agreement with the oldest solar manufacturer in the United States. The Stealth Solar Panel has an exclusive 10 year warranty against all manufacturer defects. Stealth Solar has NO complaints at the Registrar of Contractors. We also are Accredited Members of the Better Business Bureau with NO complaints. We as a company not only inspect all jobs upon completion we check back with ALL clients 5 days after install to make sure everything is as expected. We then do a physical inspection of the system at 90 days to make sure expectations have been met. It should be noted Adair Solar and Plumbing is not associated with Stealth Solar ownership but have been accepted by Stealth Solar to use our trademarked system. Adair Solar and Plumbing is very much in business in Mesa. It would appear that whomever has filed this supposed complaint was by their own statement not a customer and certainly does not have any supporting information to lend any credence to these wild claims which have been shown here to be false in nature. We look forward to serving our customers and delivering a quality product designed to deliver reduced energy bills and guaranteed for 10 years by both Stealth Solar as well as the Fafco Corporation in Chico California.
Stealth Solar...what a joke! We have been doing nothing but kicking ourselves for getting involved with such a wretched comapny. We were swindled out of our money by a smooth talking sales rep (con artist would be more like it). The product has not saved us ANY money but they claimed it would most likely save us 50% but at the very LEAST 30%. HA!
Really truly, from start to finish this has been a painful experience that I would not wish on anyone. First, we had the sales rep that came to our home and lied to our faces about not having to pay out of our own pocket due to rebates etc.! Really?? Then why do I have bills that are amounting to about TEN THOUSAND dollars that keep showing up in MY mailbox every month??!!! What a pain to even get SOME of the rebates that they promised.
Next we had the installation issues...UGH! I had one guy show up to install the window films to block out heat. He tells me they will block out about 40-50% of the heat BUT our "beloved sales rep" had told us it would be 80-90%! Quite a difference. Then the installer proceeds to damage our laminate flooring by dragging our big heavy office desk across it because he doesn't have the second person (whom he usually has) with him that day to help him lift it.
So then we proceed to the installer of the water heater and the solar panels...he was amazingly rude and when I requested that he turn down the temp. (it was set at 140 degrees) since we have young children he tells me that he doesn't want to do it. He told me that it is a pain to do and that 140 is the best temperature to have it at anyway. When I pushed the issue he then quickly told ME how to do it incase I still wanted to do it at another time. WOW! Customer service at it's finest.
After a couple of months the solar panels quit working...they came out to correct the issue after I had called SEVERAL times and after several promises they would be out to fix the problem. After about a year there was something else wrong and they quit working. Again, went through the run around of getting them out here to fix it.
Our bills have changed a teensy bit (we save about 15 dollars a month) NOTHING worth the 14 thousand dollars they charge to have all of this done! We are ending up having to pay about 10 thousand out of pocket and it is disgusting.
What we are really concerned about is that once the 2 year warranty is up (which is in a few months) problems will continue to take place with this product and we will still be paying for it along with having to pay for the repairs!!
I have left out some other key issues due to time constraint but PLEASE heed my advice and stay FAR FAR AWAY from Stealth Solar! If we had money to hire a lawyer and sue them we would but we have all of our money tied up in their product! After all, that must be how they stay in business...
