I read with interest the Browns' rebuttal to DAn of Phoenix's complaint. The Browns are the consumate scam artists. I, along with many other employees of Sterling Home Mortgage, was promised - in writing - that I would be paid on certain loans that closed after January 24, 2010. I did not overcharge my customers (as they accuse DAn of doing), and I did everything to the letter to be compliant with state and federal laws. To my knowledge, the Browns have stolen about $150,000 in wages that belong to their employees. The Browns promised - again, in writing - that they would pay for certain loans that closed after January 24, 2010, and then they proceeded to steal from their employees and pocket the wages. They are attempting to start a Medical Marijuana clinic with the stolen wages of employees. It is called Phoenix Health Center. These are truly low-life folks. They have been planning this ripoff for the past few months. They don't care one bit if their employees cannot feed their families; they are so representative of the greed and lack of any morals that infests many aspects of America today. They will not respond to any phone calls or emails. All I can say is that Karma is a bitch. I don't wish anyone ill health, but they will certainly be judged and punished when the wheel turns. They are despicable people. There are at least 20 employees that are owed wages, and meanwhile they live in a $2 million home. Further this home was acquired via a "buy and bail" tactic: i.e., they lied on a loan application to obtain their present home in short sale or foreclosure situation, and then defaulted on their former residence. How they can respond with any type of defense is way beyond me. If they were so upset about Dan from Phoenix overcharging a borrower, why didn't they refund the money. Nope. The Browns pocketed the $11,000 commission. My. Aren't they moral and upstanding citizens.
