My first impression of Michael Tanner Cusuamano was not a very good one. I should have known that when I first met him, when he was picking up a mutual friend from my house, when he refused to even say hello and introduce himself to me, that it was a red flag. This guy thinks he's too good, to even talk to me and be polite, even though I let him enter my home. A couple days later, I got a call from that mutual friend, that Tanner needed a SFX Make-up Artist, because his dropped out on the last minute. As a favor to my friend, I agreed to take the job, even though it was last minute. As soon as I agreed, my friend put Tanner on the phone and we had a mutual agreement that I would work. So naturally I told him, hey I need the script so I can determine a budget for the effects. There wasn't much time to prep, so I needed it write away. So Tanner agreed he would get it to me asap. Three days before the shoot, I see Tanner again, and I asked for a script, he said he would send it to me.
The following day, which would have been one of my last days to prep for the film, he called me around 5:45pm, saying that he had to go with another make-up artist. This was completely unprofessional to lead someone on thinking they have work, yet they cancel on you on last minute. Not only was this a favor, I had canceled previous arrangements to work on his film, and yet he does this to me. I was asked personally to work on this film as a favor, and then he essentially screws me over. If you ever come across Tanner Films or Michael Tanner Cusuamano and his associates, run! |

In her anger she decides to write a RipOff Report here on this site after his family provided lodging,
help and compensation far beyond any kindnesses I have seen in 35 years of my work in the film business.
I am appalled at the way you Gabrielle Lui handled this situation. I promise you Gabrielle I will hunt you down and find out every project you are working on in this town and tell them who you really are. How dare you put out these lies about this wonderful young film maker who is trying to make a foot print in the film business just as you are. I demand a complete and honest retraction of the terrible untruths you have lied about regarding Micahael Cusuamano and Tanner Films. Unless I see a complete retraction from you everywhere I will become your worst nightmare trust me on this. What you have
done and how you handled this situation is so wrong and unprofessional. No wonder you got fired.
Your posting on this site shows me just what type of person you really are and I will make sure everyone knows who you are and how you handle things when life does not go your way. Michael Cusuamano is a "CLASS ACT" far from what I would label you. I will be looking for your removal of your post and a complete apology to Michael Cusuamano if not I will make you my life effort to correct the lies you have told about him.
