Gateway Financial Rightway Unethical business, avoid at all cost Saginaw, Michigan

So I went to Rightway because I was in need of a car. They told me that I was being financed through Gateway and I'd have to get some references to check to see how credit worthy I am. A hour later I was out the door with a 2006 Ford Fusion. Three days after purchase I was already having issues which Rightway said that it was nothing. I ended up fixing the car out of pocket because I wasn't getting any help from Rightway. It was two months later when I ran into a little financial troubles. I was due every other week and had a simple payment to make but the payments came at a bad time, usually the week I didn't paid. I was late by about 6 hours when the calls started flowing. Three days had passed and Gateway had shut off my car with their fancy devices pre-installed in the car. After paying them I had to wait an additional day for it to be processed before the turn it back on. unfortunately, I had gotten into an accident about four months in the loan. While I was trying to situate my insurance and try finding a way to work and school I was getting threatening phone calls stating: "Brian, you are a week late on your payment. I understand you have been in an accident but you still need to pay. If you do not pay us by the end of the week we will begin the legal process to garnish your wages. its your choice." I told them I was trying to balance everything out while trying to pay my more important bills like rent and buying food. The extremely rude lady said "You won't be able to pay those bills anyway if we garnish your wages." I was angry and hung up. I still owe them now for what the insurance didn't cover because they ripped me off on the price of the car as well. I pay them when I am able to make the payment and they do not like it. They call my references telling my references to "tell Brian he has to pay immediately" and even went as far as to harass my parents. Not only will I never EVER go to Rightway or Gateway, but I'm spreading the word about how they deal and hoping everyone can avoid them. Trust me, it is not worth it.

I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD MAKE A COMPLAINT ABOUT GATEWAY. WHEN THEY SHUT THE CAR OFF IT DRAINS THE BATTERY. SO ARE THEY GOING TO RE INBURSE YOU FOR A NEW BATTERY? I AM SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE ABOUT THIS. A VERY UNETHICAL BUSINESS!!!
