master automotive repair scams, never rebuild my engine but charge me as they did. pomona, California
6th of Jun, 2011 by User347947
I seen an add in the recycler, they sent a tow truck , but my car was running, so he said its no extra charge. after a week he calls me and says its gonna be 2.082.00 instead of what they quoted me on 1.375.00 flat. so i told them no ill pick my car up, then he said you need to pay us 700.00 for the disassembling of your engine, so i agreed for them to work on it as they said my car would be working in perfect condition. when i picked the car up the speedometer cable was not working,it was smoking as that was the reason i took it to them in the first place, so he said its s rebuild motor give it time, when i brought the car home i noticed it had burned a lot of oil, again that was the problem it had before i called them after 3 months and told them enough was enough as they kepped giving me the run around. so i went back to them after i got a ticket for excessive smoke from my car by a police officer. they did not want the car back as he tried telling me it was my fault, so after arguing with them darryl agreed to fix the problem, so they claim they re done my engine he calls me and says your clutch is completely out we cant warranty the engine unless you fix and now that the engine is out i can give it to you cheap, i said ill buy a new one and you guys put it in he said no it has to come from us, so again i agreed, he sold me the clutch for 247.00 he also told me something was wrong with my radiator and i needed all hoses and belts and also all new fuel injectors. So i went and bought new hoses, new fuel injectors, a a radiator. on the radiator when i took my car in to replace the muffler the guy noticed water was coming from the end of the hose which plugs into the air-conditioner on my car that one was not tightened so there was where the water was leaking from so i fixed that problem, then the car was leaking oil i took it back, he said i had overheated the car, i took the car to them as the mechanic said the heads had no compression and that is where i stand right now, i just came back from kentucky as my company sent me out there to train the new personnel, the car has always been here in la i haven't even paid for the registration as i dont want them to say i drove to much and it was my problem, this has truly been the worst experience of my life dealing with dishonest people that can not do a job that you paid them for, please help or let me know what i can do. thank you
